If you are getting error messages with a screensaver you installed you are one of the un-lucky people who have a OS with a Microsoft fluke!

Some versions of Windows 98 and most versions of ME are missing a critical componant required to run some of my older screensavers. This is an element that was standard with Windows but for reasons known only to Microsoft they decided to eleminate it in a some releases of their program. This is however an easy fix!

All of my newer screensavers include the componant built into all screensavers to eleminate this problem. Just go to any of the categories under the Wallpapers n' Savers on the right frame or the New Themes section on the left frame and download and install any of the themes or screensavers from THOSE sections. This will install the missing componant and fix your display problem.

If you try the problem saver again it should work fine. If it does not, you will have to reinstall the screensaver. Just uninstall the old one by locating the uninstaller in your Start menu and then install it again.
